Cost per tonne calculator: questions

How is cost per tonne calculated?
Cost per tonne is total cost divided by tonnes moved. Total cost is machine hours times the hourly rate, plus diesel litres times the diesel price, plus any other costs you enter.
What counts as other costs?
Anything the job carries that is not machine time or diesel, such as tyres, labour or site overheads. Leave it at zero to see the machine and diesel cost alone.
Where do the inputs come from in Diggy?
Machine hours, diesel issues and production are recorded on site, and machine rates sit in finance. The cost reports show each figure with the record behind it.
