How is a machine's cost shown?
Costs recorded against each machine build up in its cost register, which can be read for its lifetime or for the year to date. The finance dashboard shows total cost and cost per hour, and Explain this number shows where a figure came from.
When should we sell a machine?
Machines whose costs run out of line are flagged as disposal candidates on the finance dashboard. The decision stays yours, with the cost records behind it.
Can machine costs be charged to a project?
Yes. Charge-back runs work out what each project owes for the machines it used, from rate cards and any per-asset rate overrides.
