Our loader works at the plant, not the pit. Does that fit?
Yes. Plants and stockpiles have their own records, so a loader feeding the plant sits beside the processing entries it supports. Its hours and diesel stay on the loader's own record.
Why track loader tyres separately?
Loader tyres wear hard on rock and rehandle work. Each tyre is registered to a wheel position, and tread depth readings show a traffic light for the ones wearing fastest.
How is diesel for the loader checked?
Litres issued from the bowser are compared with the engine hours the loader worked. A fill with no hours behind it is flagged for someone to check.
